Why Footy School & Stopsley Sharks F.C?
In 2016 Footy School was started with a simple focus in mind: Fun for all. Enjoy the game. Whoever you are. Whatever your ability.
A skills and development based football programme for all to enjoy and have fun with. With both outdoor (grass and astro turf surface depending on the time of year) and indoor training facilities (hard court), a varied approach can be taken in us teaching your child football.
Speed of passing and movement is always a constant theme, and just like in the small sided skilled based football game, Futsal, players are taught to think quickly, move fast, find space and receive passes.
With some of our sessions indoors every week, there's always a Futsal game around the corner!
In 2018 Stopsley Sharks F.C. was established by a great team of people, to help support more football opportunities locally and ensure enjoyment for players wanting to be involved in a match environment and develop further skills and knowledge of the game.
Stopsley Sharks F.C. is affiliated by the Bedfordshire Football Association and has multiple coaches on their official England DNA learning pathways with the Football Association. Stopsley Sharks F.C. is currently in the Chiltern Sevens Junior League.
Working together, Footy School & Stopsley Sharks F.C. give you the choice of improving skills and having fun in a number of football environments, on multiple days during the week.
Please contact us with any questions or complete the online form and we'll get back to you. Thanks.

Football coaching became Chris's enjoyment and focus after injury in semi pro football. In 1999, as a young coach Chris went on F.A. coaching courses was presented with a great opportunity to work full time in the U.S.A. later that year.
Various soccer schools and academies were coached, with a wide range of ages from 5 years-18, across a number of States including Kansas, New Mexico, Texas and Georgia.
Part time coaching continued at Luton Town Football Club with the u10s youth side, which had a special player at the time.
Various playing and coaching roles at amateur teams have also kept Chris busy in the U.K. over the following years.
Other experience coaching included helping teams at the Gothia World Youth championships in Sweden, which was a real eye opener and an amazing experience for Chris and all the players involved.
In addition to their coaching roles Martin and Anthony (club welfare officer and club secretary) have been a huge part and importance to the club with various structure, organisation and safeguarding work.
